To phrase it in as little terms as possible, this 6-step guide is packed with helpful questions and tips to walk you through the process of a lifestyle change and how to maintain your new lifestyle – without making you feel overwhelmed. YOU pick what you want to change and HOW you want to change. This guide is more or less your personal health coach asking the right questions to prepare you for action. And it’s free!
So what is a lifestyle change, you may be asking?
In the context of our physical health, a lifestyle change is the process of adopting a new set of healthier habits that are then continued throughout the rest of one’s life. This includes but is not limited to habits that deal with adequate nutrition, exercise, sleep, and minimizing stress.
Habits are adopted by way of a broad range of systems that influence us: family, community, media, organizations, etc. Habits are useful because they prevent us from spending all our days making decisions. The problem is that certain habits we’ve learned can be harmful to our health and they are not easy to change. It takes a lot of effort on our part to change a habit, but it can be done.
The best way to change a habit is through an awesome action plan, which is exactly what this guide helps you develop.
Chances are you know which habits you need to change. You probably don’t need anyone to tell you what to change or how to change. What you do need, though, are helpful questions that will get your creative juices flowing so you can decide how to succeed in a way that works best for you.
We are all wonderfully unique. What works for one person does not always work for another. That’s why I created this guide with every unique person in mind. No matter where you are in your health journey, there is a solution out there for you and this guide is there to help you find it!
